OBJECTIVE
Being at one of the unique hills in Abha, provides the project site a great privilege. In order to get maximum benefit from the specific location, the studies are made to optimize the user comfort and quality view while taking the environmental conditions into considerations.
CHALLENGES
On moderate slopes which have ratio up to 1:5, it is preferred not using single slab on ground but multiple slab. The choice of multiple slab, fosters the environmental friendly relation with the topography and increases the quality of interior spaces.
STUDIES
Natural ventilation, privacy and reuse of rainwater are the highlights of the studies that are done in design process.
MASS FORMATION
Optimizing the rotation of geometry and placing on slope and later repeating the housing units to create terrace houses.
