Project Description

Dammam multi-story car park is located in a context where different commercial activities occur and the north-facing 185m street elevation is the main interactor with these activities.

The project mass is divided by highlighting the building entrances as separate volumes and cutting out slates for ventilation. The Chimney effect is applied through wind catchers to collect air from the north and subtract cores to suck hot air out of the building to ensure air circulation.

In addition, the floor parapet height increases as we go from North to South to Control the amount of sunlight entering the building and achieve adequate indirect lighting in spaces for visual and thermal comfort.
