Project Description

The main concept is derived from the idea of splitting the mass into three main masses, creating separate zones with different themes to highlight the various commercial uses. This has been achieved by using three forces that stem from the main entrances of the commercial podium. These forces are used to create the main spine «streets», ending at spacious courts, to highlight the three main residential towers, which lie on the entrance axis. This idea has been adopted to ensure the ability for the construction phasing. To convey the sense of the souq streets in indoors, skylights and courts have been created to provide the main spines with natural daylighting.
