Capital Gate – Cityscape Awards finalist 2020

Capital Gate emerged as a distinguished finalist for the prestigious Best Commercial Architecture Project category at the Cityscape Awards 2020. This recognition highlights the project’s exceptional design and conceptual prowess, making it a standout contender in the competitive realm of commercial architecture.

Reimagining Urban Commercial Spaces:

The Capital Gate project, situated in the vibrant R-07 residential district of the new administrative capital, Egypt represents a paradigm shift in the way we perceive commercial and retail spaces. With a sprawling plot area of 4930.91 square meters and a floor area ratio (FAR) of 1.2, the architects embarked on a mission to redefine the urban landscape.

Innovative Design Philosophy:

At its core, Capital Gate embodies a forward-thinking design philosophy. The project’s primary focus has been on creating shops that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. The ground floor hosts shops with an approximate size of 20 square meters, ensuring a spacious and inviting retail environment. As one ascends, the upper floors feature shops ranging between 17 to 19 square meters, perfectly balancing efficiency with elegance.
